The hotel was close to plenty of attractions and places to eat, which was about the only good part of our stay. I picked this room because it was listed as having a kitchen. The booking confirmation said so too, and the hotel confirmed it when I messaged. In reality, there was only a fridge in the hallway. With no kitchen, I had to sterilise my 6 months old twins' bottles in mugs of booking water. The sinks were no use because the plugs wouldn't hold water. Our room was at the far end from the entrance, reached by very narrow corridors and lots of stairs. The only other way out was a fire escape. I had told them I had six-month-old twins, so it was difficult keeping two crawling babies safe on the floor. It looked as though it hadn't been hoovered, and the rug was filthy with hair all over it. The laminate was lifting in places. One evening, while we were watching TV, a wall light fell to the floor on its own. Luckily, none of the children was underneath it. I'm posting this again because the first one was removed.

I wouldn't spend my money here again. The room felt dusty and filthy, with floors that looked as if they hadn't been swept for weeks. The duvet was very thin, the TV tiny, and the curtains were mismatched and didn't fit the windows. The furniture was outdated, there was no toilet roll when we arrived, and the light fitting was coming apart.

The noise from other guests was awful, and there was nobody at reception to report it to. Being left to fend for yourself like that didn't feel safe. The room itself was shocking, absolutely filthy, including the toilet and bed, and the floor was sticky. It felt like being in a nightclub. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I only stayed because everywhere else was full. The bedding was the one thing that seemed clean. There was dirt, crumbs and stains on the walls and floor, as well as dust and cobwebs. The shower had grease marks, so I didn't use it. Absolutely filthy.

The room was a decent size, but it hadn't been cleaned well. The paintwork looked amateurish and the kettle was minging. Breakfast didn't make up for it: the tomatoes were cold, the sausage wasn't good, and the table hadn't been cleared. Parking was advertised, but there are only three spaces, which isn't enough. I wouldn't stay again.
