Alex is a charming host, and the room had tea, coffee and some naughty chocolates. The place was lovely, clean and comfortable.

The owner is a really nice chap and very amenable. Book direct with him and you get a continental-style breakfast. This is our second time staying here, first for my father's funeral and now for my wedding. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, nicely decorated, and each has its own charm. I had a look in all but one of them, haha. He was very accommodating when we booked five rooms for one night. FREE Parking is available.

Alex gave us the best welcome, and Max the dog was lovely too. The place is conveniently located and spotlessly clean, with a fab range of self-serve breakfast items.

Alex was a great host, really friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with him over breakfast. Our stay at Riverside was lovely. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with thoughtful extras like hot chocolate, biscuits and chocolates, plus toiletries in the bathroom. Would 100% recommend. Thank you, Alex!

Heidi was so cheerful and welcoming, and there’s plenty of parking at the front of the property. It’s only a short walk into the town centre, too. I felt at home in the clean room, with its soft mattress and pillows and well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast had lots of lighter choices as well as a proper full English. I was feeling quite unwell, so I’m sorry I couldn’t do it justice. A great stay, thank you.
