We turned up late, my wife and I, without booking dinner, but the staff were accommodating and the chef made us delicious roast beef sandwiches. With some excellent local ales, that was just right. The heritage setting has a lovely atmosphere. We love the Worsley Arms Hotel and hope to come back. Thank you.

Those triple-fried chips alone might be worth coming for: crispy outside, fluffy in the middle, and the best I've had in years. The food and beer were both good when we ate at the bar after the regular village market. It's been a few years since my last visit to the Worsley Arms, and the place is looking a little tired.

I stopped in for a drink, but felt a little out of place. Locals were gathered around the small bar, so it was hard to get to, and I waited a while to be served as there didn't seem to be many staff. The prices felt high too: £20.35 for a pint, a glass of wine and a coffee.

I only stayed one night, but it was memorable. There are lovely walks around the area, and the food was wonderful, with Tony choosing our wine expertly. Sally gave us lovely service, and Tony and his wife were perfect hosts. From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt like a little piece of heaven. Tony also has a great sense of humour. We had a special Sunday lunch celebration at The Worsley Arms, and it’s a day we’ll remember. Tony and the staff served all 21 of us together, with no waiting, and the menu and wine choices were excellent. Whenever we come here, they make us feel like the only people around and are happy to do anything for us. Thank you.
