Our baby became unwell during the stay, and the team went out of their way to support us however they could. Their care meant so much to our family, and we'll always remember how kind and welcoming they were. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and every staff member we met was kind and helpful. Thank you for looking after us so warmly. 💖

The Brasserie was what really amazed us. Feeding the whole family can get expensive, so the kids-eat-free deal with a paying adult was superb, and the pizzas were particularly fabulous. Sana and her colleagues gave great service too. The rooms were good for the price and location. We'll definitely return when we're next in the area.

Amelia looked after us at breakfast and was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She made our mornings brighter. Breakfast had lots of choice and was delicious each morning. We also found the hotel clean, comfortable, and well located, with plenty of parking available for a fee. The front office staff gave us a warm welcome and were polite and friendly. Highly recommend Holiday Inn Windsor–Slough, and a big thank-you to Amelia.

There was no hot water on the morning we were leaving, so we couldn't shower. Reception said there'd been an emergency and they'd called an engineer, which I understand. But when I asked about compensation or a voucher, the receptionist laughed and wasn't helpful. She said she'd have made parking free if we'd had a car, but we didn't, and no alternative was offered. Not everyone drives to a hotel, and for an international company like IHG this was poor customer service. Hot water is an amenity, and even with an emergency, some compensation should have been offered. I complained on their website over a month ago and haven't had a reply, they've just ignored it. The shared areas and rooms were clean, but I won't return. I stayed last month while planning to do some sightseeing.
