The train station is nearby, which makes getting to London and other places handy. But the lifts are a serious problem. Both have failed several times, and on one occasion the outage lasted more than three weeks. One has now been out for a month; the other holds no more than four people, and with more than four aboard it automatically goes down to the basement instead of up. For anyone on the 12th floor, especially with children or older relatives, that’s a real challenge. The management company and lift contractor haven’t been helpful, repeatedly giving new repair dates without fixing the issue. BBC reported on this last year, and it seems to be happening again. I’d advise against renting in this building.

Both lifts have been down for several days again, from 6th Jan through 13th Jan. It was out on 5th Jan too, then again during school time on 6th Jan. Don’t buy or rent here, it feels like a waste. I’ll keep updating this review whenever a lift goes out.

This has been going on for ages. Both lifts were out of action for two months in 2024, and the problem came back in September 2025. They were both down for over three weeks, and now just one is running, with failures still happening now and then. Higher-floor living is a pain when the lifts keep stopping. The management company says it’s chasing the lift provider, while landlords say it’s outside their control. Tenants are the ones left dealing with it, and there doesn’t seem to be a quick fix in sight. If you’re looking to buy or rent, I’d steer clear of this building.

Theft around the premises and lifts that don’t work properly made this a very disappointing experience. Management needs to act quickly on both safety and maintenance.

The flats are a decent size and the interiors are generally kept up well. It’s also a popular location, especially if you commute by train. Still, the lifts make everyday life difficult. I’ve been here over a year and can hardly recall both working at once. There have been several stretches of weeks when neither lift worked. The managing company keeps saying a replacement part is needed, but somehow getting those parts takes months. It’s frustrating and hard to understand. I’d only rent or buy here if you’re sure you won’t need the lifts much. Otherwise, the repeated outages outweigh the good location.
