The reception team made the stay comfortable and stress-free. They welcomed me warmly, handled check-in smoothly, and answered my questions patiently and efficiently. They were professional, genuinely helpful, and clearly willing to assist. Thanks to the reception staff for such positive, high-standard service. I had a very pleasant stay at Travelodge Slough.

The room was old, extremely dirty and smelled awful. There was blood on the carpet, mould in the fan, and the toilet didn't flush properly. I spent 4 nights there, and it was horrible. Staff barely interacted with guests. Honestly, this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I'd recommend staying away.

Report back from one of our employees: The bar had a limited menu, but the food was okay. They had Stella and Guinness, and the atmosphere was good. Larry, the American bar tender/waiter, was extremely friendly and an asset to the Hotel. Parking at Buckingham Gardens was really handy, less than 100 yards around the corner. I was very lucky to find a space on both visits, as there are only around 50. Although I'd read it was pay by app only, you can pay at the machine or use the Ring Go app. If it's full, there's another car park, Multi Storey, immediately opposite on Herschel Street. I was on the 7th floor, and there was a constant hum from the air cons in other buildings in the block. It's there in the background, but I can see how it might bother you if you tune into it. The room was quite clean, and I heard no corridor noise over 2 nights. I found it funny that the bathroom door jams against the toilet seat, like it was measured too precisely. 😆 The shower was okay the first morning, then lukewarm the second. All in all, I found the stay quite good. Hope this helps.

We paid £44 per night and chose this place for the price and its roughly 15-minute drive to Legoland. For £54 a night, the Premier Inn up the road might have been a better choice, and I don't think I'd come back. Our room, 305 on the 3rd floor, faced the side street off the main road, over the hotel's underground car park entrance. Outside, we saw an apartment block and rubbish piled by the curb both nights. Cars revved and raced around both nights too. The entrance underneath us may have contributed to the noise, but the windows didn't block it well, and we could hear loud guests in nearby rooms as well. The family room was fairly spacious, with a double bed, 2 singles, a big chair and a long desk with space underneath for bags. The TV was really small, under 20" I'd say. There were stains and marks on the beds, walls and bathroom, including mould in the extractor fan. The double bed was okay, but not the most comfortable; we've slept better at Premier Inn. We stayed Sunday 29/03 and Monday 30/03 ( Half Term ).

My room smelled, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut unless I lifted the toilet seat. The walls were so poorly insulated I could hear people in adjoining rooms, while cars racing outside and people screaming could be heard even from the top floor. No point paying extra for a top-floor room if you want a decent night's sleep. I asked about the wifi that was meant to come with my 'upgraded' room, but the staff didn't seem to know or care, so I had to pay an extra £3.50. Outside, vehicles were left across pavements, junctions and dropped kerbs despite the double yellow lines. I can't understand how the local authorities don't enforce it, when it seems like easy money.
