The setting really makes the place, and the outside is impressive. It’s peaceful, with plenty of private parking, walking routes nearby, places to eat and a pub serving food. Local transport is handy too, with the railway station 30m away and MI7 about a mile off. The owners were very welcoming, breakfast was superb, and the dining room was well appointed. The en-suite rooms were comfortable, including one with a 4 poster bed. The main drawback was bathroom noise, since the door has no lock. Overall, very good.

We travelled from Manchester as a family of five for a wedding, staying from 4th July to 6th July. The beautiful place and surroundings made the trip feel special, and we didn’t want to go home. The family run hosts were so welcoming and friendly; our clean, comfortable room and good quality breakfast added to a truly positive experience. It made the wedding stay even more memorable. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Really clean and nice lodge, and I love the way the owner decorated it. She’s lovely, and the free breakfast could rival food at any good restaurant. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay and came away with lovely memories. It’s a great base for exploring the New Forest, with welcoming hosts, divine breakfast and everything impeccably clean.

A comfortable 4 poster bed, a lovely view from the bedroom, and a superb breakfast. The owners were very welcoming, and the B&B is well run.
