Ailsa was a brilliant host, and everything was clean. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived. The place was gorgeously decorated and in a peaceful area, which made it ideal for a getaway with my partner. We had an absolutely amazing time and will definitely come again. Thank you, Ailsa!

We had lodge number 3, and it was better than expected. Just one small criticism: a little light at the kitchen end would have helped, since the LEDs above the cooker weren’t working while we were there. A very nice lodge.

I’m sure the place is nice, but after seeing the owner’s shocking behaviour on Three in a Bed while representing their business to the public, I’d never stay there.

The breakfast choices are great, and I can't imagine anyone finding fault with them. We also found the house, grounds, and apartments wonderfully clean. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. It's our second stay at this gem, and we'll keep coming back. The lounge and games room look amazing, and the swimming pool and steam room look lovely too. We didn't get to try them this time because we had so much else planned. Maybe next visit. Who wouldn't want to come back?

After a wedding, I stayed one night and found the bed really comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The garden grounds were lovely too. Ailsi was a thoughtful, considerate host, and she kindly connected me with other wedding guests staying at the retreat. That helped me a lot. Thank you!
