That was the nicest roast I’ve had in ages. The beef was incredible, the pork belly fantastic, the crackling perfect, and all the trimmings were sublime. This pub has turned things around amazingly. Credit to the new owner, chef, and staff.

The food was excellent, and the staff were pleasant. We stopped in for Tuesday lunch at the Roebuck Inn, our first visit in years. I remembered it as pretty grim, but it has a really nice feel now, with thoughtful decor and pleasant background music. Definitely recommend it.

That sirloin was mouthwatering, and the pie had tender chunks of beef. We also had the mixed grill, which was amazing. A group of us ate there tonight, and Mark, your food was outstanding. I hadn't had a steak like that since your Hobbit days! If you're after an excellent meal, you should visit the Roebuck. Highly recommend.

We skipped dessert, which was a shame because the menu looked great, but the generous portions had us too full. My husband went to a work Christmas lunch at the Roebuck, and everyone was impressed with the food. The starters were tasty, the mains well cooked, and the prices reasonable. Well worth a visit.

It was quiet when we arrived, so we could choose any table. There were clearly regulars around, but we still felt comfortable. We had the all-day brunch and farm sausages, both fresh, hot, good quality, and generous portions. Lovely meal, nice atmosphere, and we'll definitely visit again.
