It’s tucked away from the seaside bustle but still just a short walk from the beach, and I’d happily stay again. The room was clean and tidy, with a kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, microwave oven, crockery and cutlery. The small freezer compartment in the fridge came in handy during the heatwave. There was hand sanitiser too, which reassured me that the room had been cleaned and disinfected before I arrived. Netflix and BBC iPlayer were available on the TV. The walls and floors are thin, so you can hear people in neighbouring rooms, though it didn’t bother me or affect my stay. Booking through checkout was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. The team responded quickly and helpfully to my questions and problems, including an issue with the security deposit payment.
