Leicester Hotel

The rooms are fresh and clean, and the breakfasts are stunningly delicious. Cliff and his lovely wife give you such a warm welcome, it feels like coming home. This was my second visit, and honestly, it’s the best guest house I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Well done, The Leicester. Fabulous!

The location is great, and the owners made me feel very welcome. I had a comfortable night and enjoyed a lovely breakfast cooked to order. I’ll definitely come back next time I visit.

We hadn’t planned to stay, but high winds on the west coast meant we couldn’t drive home. Cliff got us checked in promptly, even before the usual time, and we’d put this place at the top of our list next time we visit Southport. The room had high ceilings, a big bay window, and seating. It was bright and comfortable. The hosts’ attention to detail was brilliant, and they keep the house super clean. The decorated rooms have laminate or wooden floors, which is handy if you have allergies. Cliff ran breakfast and knew how to ask what people actually preferred, like toast before or with the cooked breakfast, and hot or cold milk with coffee. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, well prepared, and offered plenty of choice. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Sam and Clare.

The rooms were amazing, with comfortable beds, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was sensational. Cliff, the owner, was so helpful and attentive. I can’t praise this B&B enough, and we’ll be back.
