The B&B is an easy walk from town, the beach, the pier and other attractions. We stayed one night in May 2022 and felt welcome from the moment we arrived, when we were shown to our room. We had the Burton Suite, which was spacious and nicely equipped, with thoughtful touches like several mirrors at the dressing table. The bathroom was huge, lovely and well stocked, and it was nice having a separate sitting area. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was scrupulously clean, and the service was friendly without getting in the way. Breakfast was really good, with a nice selection made to order. The toast was especially good, and somehow stayed hotter than the toast I carry from my kitchen to the lounge at home.

Steve and Jane made us feel very welcome during our overnight stay on the 23rd February. The room was spacious, spotless and had a homely feel. Breakfast was superb, so you certainly won't leave hungry. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Southport. Thank you both for welcoming us to your lovely B & B.

When my energy supplier wouldn't send an emergency engineer on a very cold Sunday evening at 8pm, Vale House came through. Within half an hour of my call, they had a warm room ready, even though it was during the pandemic and they probably weren't expecting guests. I live less than a mile away, but their warm welcome and immaculately clean room made me feel like I was on holiday for a few nights. Rebecca and Margaret were helpful without intruding. They made sure there was FRESH milk in the fridge, PROPER teabags and toiletries. I felt safe and comfortable in bed, and thought that if I ever leave Southport and come back to visit, I should remember this place.

Our suite was beautiful and the people were so friendly. Breakfast was fresh, and the coffee was great. Absolutely amazing, couldn't have asked for more. Thanks so much, I'll be back to see you again.

The Burton Suite was huge, clean and beautifully presented when I stayed for two nights in September 2021. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were generous. I'll stay again if I'm in the Southport area.
