Trevor made us feel so welcome, he’s a funny, knowledgeable host. The location is great, and the breakfast had plenty to choose from. My husband and I stayed in May 2025, and it was the best B&B we’ve been to. The inn felt cosy, and the room and linens were fantastic.

Breakfast was a real highlight: lots of choice, cooked just right and ready at the time we’d picked the day before. Trevor also gave us personal tips for what to see nearby, and was attentive without hovering. We stayed at Over the Bridge Guesthouse while exploring the area and would gladly return. It sits beside the river in a lovely corner of the village, with plenty of parking. Our room was spacious but cosy, spotlessly clean, warmly heated with the option to turn the heat off, and had thoughtful touches and a big comfortable bed.

Trevor was charming and friendly, and everything was spotless and well cared for. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable, so I slept brilliantly. Breakfast was delicious. Over the Bridge is a real gem.

I felt completely safe there on my own. The building is old and full of character, and it was warm, spotless, with lots of thoughtful little touches. The breakfast was amazing, and Trevor, the owner and host, couldn't do enough for me, even if his jokes were terrible when he tried to tease me! I booked this B&B for a nearby wedding after years of staying in hotels. It changed my mind about B&Bs, and I highly recommend it.

The river outside our window made a lovely sound as we settled down. Our room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated, and the building's decor suited its age. It was good to see the kitchen where breakfast was prepared. There was plenty of choice and everything was expertly cooked. Trevor was polite and funny, a real laugh. We only stayed one night, but hope to come back for longer and explore the area. Over the Bridge is a great find, highly recommended.
