It was really cold inside, with no heating, and the pub looked worn and shabby. We were the only customers on a Saturday evening, so we had a quick pint and moved on to a much busier pub around the corner.

They had no John Smith's on draught, so I paid £4.00 for a can in Halifax. Very poor service.

Please don't book. I paid 13 weeks upfront plus a deposit, but from the first day there was no hot water or heating. All of us tenants complained and notified them, but were ignored. The rooms were advertised as flats, though there was no kitchen in them. The shared kitchen had a rusty microwave and washing machine, and nothing else. At times we went over a month without heating or hot water. I have proof. I gave notice and moved out with two weeks and my deposit still left, but since then they've called me names, ignored me and refused to refund me.

A fun place with great drinks, a pool table and a pole. The facilities were clean, and Chevelle gave us great service, sorry if I've got the spelling wrong! ❤️

I played a gig there and found the staff really friendly. Great beers, a great atmosphere, and lots of happy customers and partygoers.
