I visit the area for work every week and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The six apartments are spacious, clean and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lorna is warm and friendly, and always makes you feel welcome and at home. The pub itself is small and traditional, old-fashioned in a cosy way, and the pints are delicious, just as they should be.

The pub was closed while I was there, which was a real letdown because I chose the place for its country pub feel. I'd check that it's open before booking again. I stayed two nights in a clean, fully serviced self-catering apartment. It's on a main road, which isn't ideal, but it was close to where I was visiting, with shops a short walk away, so it worked well as a stopover.

I slept wonderfully and didn't want to leave. It's a very quiet, clean place with everything you need, and Lorna was friendly and really helpful. I'd recommend staying here.

Lorna, the owner, was lovely and helpful. Her little apartment is clean, cosy and comfortable, and made a perfect base for visiting the area. I highly recommend staying here.

I arrived to find the place deserted and couldn't get anyone to answer the booking number, even after five calls. I spent 40 minutes in the snow walking around the property, calling out and knocking on doors, but no one was there. I had to book another hotel so I wouldn't be stranded. They still charged me and won't refund me. Appalling way to run a business, and I wouldn't try staying here.
