The secluded garden was a lovely place to spend time with the dogs, especially with the amazing weather. We had a lovely week with family, and the cottage was well equipped. There are plenty of walks nearby and it's a great base for exploring. The secure dog area was fantastic. Just bear in mind it's a working farm. Two of our dogs are quite reactive and got stressed at times.

We spent five days here and enjoyed every minute. It's a dog-friendly cottage in an amazing setting, and the owner was a really nice guy who suggested some great places to visit and eat. Can't wait to come back this year. I'd highly recommend millrace farm.

The place itself is beautiful, and the owner was very nice. But in winter he kept the heating at 18°C and 17°, and could turn it down through an app on his phone. There was no housekeeping at all during our month-long stay. Netflix had a PIN on it, and the Wi-Fi was excellent now and then, but at other times there was no signal. At 10:00am, when it was time to leave, the owner came over while another person and I were waiting for the car and told us, “Move out, move out.”
