Good food and a great bar atmosphere. It’s a great spot if you want to be very close to The Old Course and the R & A.

The hotel bar and location are ideal, and I can’t ask for more. Isobel deserves a shout-out for great table service. Phenomenal place, better than a 5-star rating.

That was the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. What an amazing bar! Ash and Luke were fantastic bartenders. I spotted an American football helmet in the corner, and it turned out the original owner is a fellow Aggie. Gig em!!

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the hotel is excellent value at a fair price. It’s well located for walking, but parking in St Andrew’s is a disaster. We spent 45 minutes looking for a spot after arriving around 13:00, so keep that in mind if you’re driving.

The pub downstairs is lively and fun, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly too. We had a lovely stay at the Dunvegan and will definitely return next time we’re in St Andrews.
