We had a mix-up with our dates, but the owner set it aside and welcomed us anyway. That kindness was a lovely surprise. The room was warm and welcoming, with a clean, lovely bathroom to finish it off. I slept right through on a rather luxurious bed, which was a real treat with my chronic back arthritis. Sarah's hearty breakfast and friendly manner topped everything off. We will definitely return and recommend the place without hesitation.

The staff are caring and attentive, with plenty of local knowledge to help you make the most of your stay. The house is beautiful, and the rooms feel luxurious. Breakfast was impressively presented and very reasonable. It's in a quiet spot with valley views, yet only a short walk from the town centre and the rail and bus station. I'll definitely stay again.

We stayed in the spacious Valley View room, which was clean and warm, with a large, very nice shower. Breakfast was freshly cooked, with plenty of options. This lovely B&B is well placed for the Edam Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Charlestown Harbour and Mevagissey are easy to reach too. Highly recommended 👌

The room and en suite at Langdale House were lovely and just what we wanted, and the biscuits were yummy too. But it's the people who keep the place running that really made our stay. They were even lovelier than we could have hoped for, and made us want to come back.

The breakfast was delicious, beautifully put together, and came with little extra touches. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the en suite really lovely, and the decor well cared for. We had tea and coffee amenities, a large plasma TV and very strong WiFi. The staff were excellent, and the other guests were friendly. Langdale House was miles ahead of anywhere else we stayed during our visit to St Austell. A couple of things could be better: parking wasn't great, as guest number 3 has to park on the road or move the car. The room also got chilly each night, and we couldn't control the heating ourselves.
