We're locals and went for lunch today. The food was delicious, and the spring lunch special was great value: £18.50 per person for a main course and a drink, with wine, beer or a soft drink to choose from. The setting was lovely and the service first class. I'd thoroughly recommend it and will certainly go again.

The evening meal was fantastic, and we were lucky to have a keyboard player in the restaurant too. We stayed at the gannet on one of their winter offers, and the staff made a real effort to make both dinner and our stay lovely. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Jay gave us such a friendly welcome at reception and explained where to go and what was available. It meant we could settle in and relax before heading to the spa. Our family room was clean and roomy, with a bath, and the spa was gorgeous. Dinner was even better, with prompt, attentive service. Thanks, Jay. We’ll be back in summer ☀️👌😊

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the service and food were both great. Our room was spacious and clean, though the shower leaked, the taps ran very slowly, and it got extremely hot overnight, even in October. The hotel is close to the beach, and some rooms have a sea view on a clear day. Despite those room issues, we had a good stay.

The spa was excellent, and breakfast was very good, though the staff could use some training on making coffee. Dinner was okay. We were here for a couple of days on our honeymoon, and they’d kindly promised an upgrade, but the room was tiny and very hot. The main light flickered like a disco, and nothing was done when I mentioned it to reception. The low ceiling made standing to use the toilet awkward for a man. We also had to ask housekeeping to clean the bathroom again because the first job was so poor, and the second attempt still wasn’t very good. The bed was comfortable, at least. This was our second stay, and we gave them another chance. No third time for us 🤣
