Lewis on the bar was friendly, welcoming and very attentive, making sure everyone was looked after. We had a great visit to The Old Ferry Boat Inn, with good food, a few drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s a lovely historic pub in a beautiful riverside setting, and a great place to relax. Brilliant service all round. I’d recommend it and will be back.

The meal was delicious, and Landlady Jacqui made us feel so welcome. The pub sits right by the Great Ouse river and a beautiful nature reserve, and there’s a lot of history here: it has stood on the site since the eleventh century, and there’s even a grave marker in the flagstone floor. Dogs are welcome at The Old Ferry Boat too. I’d love to visit again soon.

The Old Ferry Boat Inn has a warm, welcoming feel, whether you’re stopping for a quiet pint or settling in for a long meal. It’s full of history and character without feeling stuffy, and the riverside setting makes you want to stay awhile. The pub classics are cooked with care, the drinks selection is excellent, and the ales are well kept. The bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, always happy to chat. Jacqui, the manager, runs the place with real heart and warmth, and her presence makes a good visit memorable. It’s more than just a pub, and I’ll be very happy to return.

The staff are attentive without hovering, always smiling, and nothing seems too much trouble. The welcome from Jacqui and her team makes you feel at ease straight away, and you can feel how much heart Jacqui puts into the place. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is second to none. Whether you’re coming in for a drink, a meal or a longer stay, The Old Ferry Boat Inn offers comfort, quality and fantastic hospitality. It’s the sort of place where you feel like a regular on your first visit. Huge thanks to Jacqui and her staff. Can’t wait to return!

A lovely village pub with a relaxed atmosphere, a warm welcome and attentive staff. The Guinness was nice, and the Mixed Grill was absolutely perfect.
