Del Mar Court

The staff were all lovely, especially Chris, who was so friendly with the children. My grandchild spent ages in the superb pool, and the kids loved waiting for Chris to come and close it each night. The apartments were spotless and had everything we could need. We had a perfect week, and everyone had such a good time that nobody wanted to leave today. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

The apartments are roomy, comfortable and well equipped. Though it’s just off a main road, the place is quiet and relaxing, and once you’re in, it’s fully self-catering. There are two supermarkets, pubs, a bakery and other shops within half a mile, and Saumaurez Manor is walkable.

There are laundry facilities, plus puzzles, books and DVDs if you want to relax in. The rooms are big and tidy, and there’s a lovely pool. We’ve been twice and will come again. It’s a great setting for countryside walks and the cliff path, with the supermarket five minutes away on foot, the village centre ten minutes away and St Peter Port about half an hour away. Regular buses at the top of the road go to the beach, airport and town, and there’s parking if you hire or bring a car.

A great place for any age, very clean and tidy, with all the facilities you could need. We had a lovely stay. Light comes through the main bedroom window all night, though I know they’re looking at fitting blackout curtains at some point.
