The New England

Right on the seafront, with clean, pleasant rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast. There are nice options for vegetarians and vegans too. A really beautiful place to spend a night in Eastbourne.

The day before we arrived, someone in our group hurt her foot and needed an orthopaedic boot. Audrey arranged for her room to be on the ground floor, such a kind thing to do. She and Michelle made our stay fabulous. I’d booked several rooms in advance, and Audrey got in touch to ask if we’d like one large table so we could all have breakfast together. No hotel has ever asked us that before. At breakfast, everyone loved their meal, there was endless coffee, and none of us wanted to leave. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable with crisp linens, the towels thick and fluffy, and the shower was great. The decor was modern, and the USB sockets made it easy to charge our phones. We’ll definitely be back.

Daniela and Adri were warm and friendly, and were there whenever we needed them. The New England Hotel sits right on the seafront, and our room was comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast had lots of choices, all made with high quality ingredients. Would highly recommend it.

The hosts were the loveliest and friendliest, and nothing was too much trouble. The young women serving breakfast were amazing too. They’re a great team and made for a lovely stay. We stayed in Room 1. It was immaculate, with soft, comfortable beds and gorgeous toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and all top quality. The pancakes were the best, and the fruit bowls were delicious. Just be warned, the portions are man-sized! This little piece of heaven deserves the rating we’ve given it. We’re already planning another visit and highly recommend this beautiful Bed and Breakfast.
