Burlington Hotel

The best thing is the location, opposite the pier, about a ten-minute walk from the town centre and just a few minutes from bus stops. We had four days here and I was quite impressed overall. The rooms are generous in size, the bed was comfortable, and tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. There was a very good choice at the buffet breakfast. My one complaint was the state of the woodwork and paint on the outside, as seen from indoors looking out. We’ll definitely be back, thank you.

The location was amazing, not far from the pier, and we had a decent sea view. Everything was clean, and the staff were always nice and polite. We could hear noise from adjoining rooms, but it wasn’t too loud or excessive. I’d definitely consider booking again.

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, friendly without being intrusive. The calm atmosphere made it a good place to unwind by the sea. The room was clean, comfortable and well-kept, with complimentary tea and coffee and big windows that let in lots of natural light. Breakfast was lovely each morning, with plenty of variety and generous portions, served in a bright, spacious dining room. My husband and I recently stayed at The Burlington Hotel in Eastbourne, and the experience was delightful from beginning to end. It has classic charm and elegant Victorian architecture, right on the seafront with lovely coastal and pier views. The location is hard to beat, just steps from the beach and a short walk from shops, cafes and theatres. It’s a great base for seeing Eastbourne and nearby places like Beachy Head and the South Downs. I’d definitely recommend The Burlington Hotel to anyone after a charming, well-located hotel on the East Sussex coast. I’m already looking forward to going back.

The building’s exterior might put you off, but don’t let it. The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our third-floor room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the water and jetty. The bathroom was spotless, and the water was hot with good pressure. The bar staff were friendly too, and the food we ordered was good. We’d definitely stay again.
