The Manse

An amazing B&B, with an easy walk into the main parts of Eastbourne. Annie also had great ideas for day trips further afield. She was very attentive, and John was a master in the kitchen. Breakfast was made to order each day. Our room was seriously spacious, with a comfortable bed, places to sit, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was huge, with a great shower and bath. Highly recommend for a stay of any length.

A beautiful room, excellent breakfast choices and a short walk to amenities and transport. The hosts and facilities were superb. One of our all-time favourite places, and we’d recommend it 100% if you’re staying in Eastbourne.

Anne and John made us feel like family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The hygiene standards were better than anywhere we’ve stayed before, including many 5* establishments. We appreciated the water in the room, with a choice of sparkling or still, as well as the toiletries, robes and slippers. Breakfast was amazing, and they catered for all dietary needs. Anne and John were wonderful hosts, nothing was a problem. This place was a real gem of a find.

John even made me bread for breakfast during our stay, after carefully checking the ingredients because of my intolerance to anything cooked in or made from rapeseed oil. John and Anne took real care with my dietary needs and were attentive and helpful throughout our lovely stay in their house. We thoroughly recommend this B&B.
