Longueville Manor

We had a lovely market menu lunch and are now sitting in the garden with tea for as long as we like before heading to the airport. The old cat sunning himself quietly out there was a delight. Lovely food, staff and setting. I’d happily come back, and would consider staying here too.

The people who look after the rooms are exceptional, and they don’t move things guests have arranged themselves. The chef also handled our vegan and non-dairy requirements with ease, and we had the best meals ever. Service throughout is exceptionally good. Luca, the head of F and B, seems to notice everything and brings such positive energy. Somehow, he makes everyone feel especially cared for. We saw him manage an 18th birthday dinner so beautifully it made us emotional. He’s still young but hugely experienced, and his talent should be bottled. Brian and Benson greet you like old friends, while Tara charms everyone and seems to know just what the weather will do when arranging outdoor dining. This is a charming, very special hotel. We’ll definitely be back.

Longueville Manor has a bit of a homecoming feeling for me. I’ve travelled a lot, but there’s something magical and extra special about this place. The food is excellent, and Luca and Chef Andrew with their teams create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that you feel looked after. The bar, restaurant and kitchen staff are all outstanding. By the time I leave, I’m already looking forward to coming back. See you soon.

We recently stayed with our family in both the cottage and the rooms, and had an incredible time. The peaceful grounds and lovely hotel made it a great place to unwind. Staff were always on hand and exceptionally attentive, making sure we had what we needed. Breakfast and lunch were amazing too. Highly recommend for families or anyone after a relaxing break.
