Holiday Inn Express Stafford by IHG

We needed one night on the Mcmillan way walk, and this worked perfectly for the two of us. The room was clean and comfortable, but I especially liked that breakfast and wifi were included, and they’d even provide forgotten things like toothpaste for free. That was a refreshing change from some bigger hotel chains. Breakfast had lots to choose from: well-cooked hot options, fruit, cereals, fresh pancakes and pastries. I’ll definitely look for rooms at HIE again.

The reception team were so welcoming and helpful that we felt at home straight away. Everything we needed was in the room, the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast the next morning was superb, and the restaurant staff were five-star too. We had a lovely night on the way to Cornwall, and we’ll be back next week.

We had a great stay Saturday night, and the location was perfect for visiting our daughter and her family. The hotel was immaculate, with all the amenities we needed, a comfy bed, quiet room and good shower. Parking was easy and free, and the value for money was great. The complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet was a real highlight, served in a lovely, spacious dining area. The staff were friendly too. My husband has already reviewed, but I wanted to add my own recommendation. We’ll definitely return.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It’s a convenient location with a decent breakfast selection. This is a no-frills hotel, but it does what it promises, cleanly and efficiently. I’d happily stay again.
