We went with a friend and baby and had a really good time. The staff were lovely, and the prices were excellent: under-twos get in free, adults pay £5, there’s a free hot drink that usually costs £4, and the kids’ meal was only £2 instead of £6.50. The play area was brilliant, with different rooms set up as a vets, farm shop and tractor shop, each with themed toys. I was a bit disappointed that none of the outdoor activities were running when we visited in winter, but we’ll come back in summer. I’d initially thought this might be an adult day out too, but it’s more of a family farm for kids.

The five children loved Santa and his elf, especially the magic and good vibes. There was so much for them to do all day, and not once did I hear “I’m bored.” We arrived early this morning and had an amazing time from start to finish. The food was great and worth the money, the animals were beautiful, and we spent hours in the play barn. We’ll definitely be back.

There’s plenty of room for kids to run, lots of park space and a big soft play area they can get lost in. My eight-year-old loved having space to roam. The animals were lovely to see in spring, and we could touch a few of the smaller ones. It feels more like a play park with a bit of farm attached. It got us out for the day, and we saw the spring babies, though it isn’t a massive farm. We drove over an hour because of the five-star reviews. The website pictures made it look bigger than it was, and I thought admission for adults was expensive. The food seemed pricey to me too, so I brought lunchboxes. It’s better suited to younger kids, and there’s plenty of space that could be put to more use.

Even on a cool November day there was loads to do, and the kids didn’t want to leave. We came as two families of four. Liam in the veg patch was especially lovely with the children and really showed what a great team they have. We also met farmer Rich in the field while he was on the tractor turning the potato’s for us to pick. It was great to chat with him, and you can tell he loves his work. Kim in the cafe was wonderful too, with a great team around her. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. An absolutely amazing day at Lower Deayton.

The soft play was brilliant fun for all of us, adults included, and everything was spotless, even the toilets. The animals were so friendly, except for one ostrich, I think, that tried to put its head in my other niece’s pushchair, maybe just to say hello. The food was lovely, and the staff were amazing, especially Kim. When my niece spilled her drink on the floor, they cleaned it up and replaced it without any fuss. I can’t wait to bring them again!
