Offley Grove Farm

There’s loads of open space for little ones to roam, and the hosts were really friendly. We were a big group split across three separate lodgings. The larger places were lovely and had everything you could want; the smaller ones were a bit more outré, but still nice and comfortable. I’d recommend stronger shower units in the smaller properties. We had a brilliant stay.

We had a long weekend with 18 of us, attending a conference at Telford and making a weekend of it. The cottages are nicely laid out and well equipped, and we loved gathering around the big table in The Granary. A few small things took the shine off. I arrived first and found no milk in the fridge, and there were cobwebs above the sink. They’d have been easy to fix with a little effort. The business model also seems strange: bringing our own towels is a pain, and paying for electricity on top of the accommodation price feels odd. Just include it in the price. Fix these details and it’d be five stars.

Margaret and Frazer are thoughtful, very friendly hosts, and their spacious rooms, lovely cottages and excellent breakfasts have earned them a reputation for great value. I stayed for over three months, which says how much I recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable, with great views. The people here really were as helpful, welcoming and friendly as those words suggest. I enjoyed my couple of nights and hope I’ll be back.
