Bluebell Cottage

A quiet, undisturbed retreat, with very courteous staff who leave you alone unless you need something. I loved the little book collection, reading brings me peace. The room was a bit small for us and the baby, but we chose it knowing that from the photos, so no complaints. I'd come back. Thank you, bluebell 😀

Sharon was so kind and sweet throughout our stay. Our clean, comfortable room had a fridge stocked with cold drinks, yoghurt and juice, and she'd even bought ham and cheese in case we were hungry after the concert. We loved the continental breakfast, with cereal, toast, croissants, cake, biscuits, fruit, five kinds of coffee and three kinds of tea. We arrived at 11.00 for the coronation concert, well before the later check-in time, but Sharon kindly let us park and collect our keys. The room was ready, so she showed us in. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we'd love to return xx

The owners are friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the self-catering room works well. The bathroom is small but perfectly adequate. Breakfast is outstanding, with a generous selection. I've stayed before, loved it, and came back for another visit. Thanks for a great short break. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a beautiful cottage and a great self-contained room, with plenty to choose from for the help-yourself breakfast. It was quite hot up at the top of the house, but there was a fan and the windows opened wide. Excellent value for money, and I'd definitely recommend it.
