London Heathrow Living Serviced Apartments - Apt 6

We booked at the last minute because of flight interruptions at LHR, and the place was available and easy to access. Check-in was simple, though it was a bit pricey with demand so high that day. The apartment was clean and close to the airport. The sofa bed was the one problem: it was badly worn and basically unusable, and its mattress was very uncomfortable.

The place was well furnished, with thoughtful extras like paper towels and complimentary washing machine pods. But the kitchen utensils were broken or missing, the toilet seat didn't fit properly, and there was just one roll of toilet paper. We'd asked for single beds for the kids and were told they'd be set up that way, but they were made up as a double, with no spare sheets to change them. The cleaner hadn't been told to leave sheets. We ran into them on day three and asked then.

There was enough room for the two of us, and we only used one of the two bedrooms. The well-presented kitchen had plenty of equipment for simple cooking. Parking covered one car, with a couple of guest spaces too. It's by a park for jogging or kids, and Bedfont Lakes country park is only five minutes away by car. The place is just south of the airport with easy access to the M25 and M3/4 etc. It isn't aimed at party types, though there was some noise downstairs, which the owners said they'd address to stop it happening again. Lovely accommodation, very clean and a good place to stay.

We really didn't want to leave. This is the best accommodation I've used in London: easy to find, modern and spotless. Everything's been thought of, even Alex to give you local information. The massive, comfortable beds and the ensuite in bedroom 2 meant no fighting over the facilities.
