We paid about 55 GBP for the room, breakfast and free parking, which was very good value. The staff were excellent and always helpful. Our room was a little cold, so they brought us an extra portable heater. Breakfast was good, though the quality could've been better, and the breakfast staff were really, really good. The pizza was the biggest letdown. At 16 GBP, it felt like we'd been ripped off for a tasteless pizza that seemed like a cheap frozen one.

The restaurant staff were great, and the breakfast buffet was good. Still, after coming from a Travelodge, I was pretty shocked by how tiny our room was for four of us. The sofa bed was barely a double, and once it was opened there was very little room to move. The bed was also made up for one person even though it was meant for two.

We stayed on January 10th and got room 210, which was lovely and cosy, and spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, especially Kate at breakfast. We also left a bracelet in the room. After we called, the hotel found it and arranged to get it back to us. We'll definitely return. 😊

Harley greeted us at reception and was so friendly and helpful from the start. Everyone made us feel welcome, and whenever we asked for extra tea and coffee for the room, the team brought it over happily. We had restaurant food delivered to the room, and it was delicious. The Caesar salad was excellent and one I'd recommend, the Margherita pizza was really nice too, and the drinks came perfectly cold. The breakfast team were just as attentive, friendly and ready to help the next morning. You can tell management is doing a great job: the friendly, happy and professional staff reflect a positive culture throughout the hotel. Kimberly and the breakfast team, along with Harley, made the service and the whole stay warm and relaxed. We'd definitely stay here again! 😊

Kate from breakfast made us feel like we'd come home for Christmas, and the lovely Kimberley, if I remembered that right, was charming too. A big thank you as well to Harley on Reception and the guy with the glasses on a band. You're both fantastic. The room was immaculate, housekeeping were so helpful, and breakfast was great. The staff were all kind, friendly and helpful. We can't fault anything and will definitely be back next year. Thanks to everyone for making our Christmas magical! We absolutely love this hotel.
