I was nervous about my first hostel stay, but I ended up really loving this wonderfully quirky place. I had the family room with my three kids, which had a double bed and a bunk bed. The facilities were clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful. The bunk beds weren’t comfortable at all, though I can understand why. The double bed was quite nice. I’ve been really impressed and would stay here again, on my own or with my family.

I had a private double room and spent most of my time with friends nearby, so I didn’t use the hostel much. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities were clean. There was some noise from outside, and you could hear every heavy footstep on the stairs. My window was glazed, so there wasn’t much of a view. I liked the hostel, though. Good location, friendly staff, and a comfortable bed in the private double.

I slept like a baby in the most comfortable bunk beds I’ve had in any hotel, even with the Saturday night crowd outside. The windows face a busy street with one of Stirling’s nightclubs. The room was bright, clean, and spacious, with high ceilings, so I never felt cramped. The decor wasn’t anything special, but the common room has a charming Victorian feel, and the staff were absolutely lovely. You can get a good price if you stay longer. I met people who’d been there for months!

Getting around Stirling was really easy from here, with the bus and train stations close by and the town centre right there too. It’s a lovely old Victorian building, full of character and history, and it feels warm inside. The staff and management were always friendly and helpful, and happy to have a bit of fun with guests. They keep improving the rooms to make them nicer and more comfortable. I’d recommend it!

The showers are pretty tiny, so you might need to time your bathroom trip, but they do the job for a hostel. It’s right in central Stirling, which made sightseeing and shopping easy on foot. Rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was fine and enough to get the day started. There aren’t free parking spaces, though most paid spots in Stirling are free after 6pm. Cool place to stay, just don’t expect a luxury hotel 😀
