We had plenty of room in the dining area for our group of 17, and there was space for more. The small bar has a pool table, which we made full use of, with beer bought separately. I slept in the Hay loft and it was just right, with a super-comfy bed. We’d brought some cleaning supplies, but some were already provided, which was a bonus. We’ve just come back from a three-night stay for our friends’ party, and the accommodation suited our needs perfectly. One thing to bear in mind is that a couple of rooms lead off other bedrooms, though it wasn’t a problem for our group. The shower cubicle was a bit snug for me as I’m larger. Thanks for letting M. Burns book for Callums party. It was spot on for us and I’d highly recommend it.

We booked Durham House for family and friends over our wedding weekend, and it worked out perfectly. There’s loads of space indoors and out, plenty of seating, and even a pool table. The location is handy for local shops and places to eat. We’d highly recommend it and won’t hesitate to book again for future family get-togethers.

We had everything we needed for my husband’s 60th birthday with family and friends. The place was clean, lovely and really spacious, and having a bar was great. Hope we can come back one day.

The dining room is excellent, and the garden was clean and tidy with good furniture. It’s a good base for a large group. The bar has a big TV, but unfortunately it had been damaged by a previous guest.

The owners were super friendly and gave us exceptional help whenever we needed it. We stayed at Durham House with family for my sister’s 50th birthday, and couldn’t have chosen a better cottage or location. The accommodation was beautiful. We’ll definitely return to make more family memories x
