There’s so much to explore nearby, from Exmoor walks to National Trust properties and the beaches, and we had a great time. The house was roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed, and we slept well. Eric was friendly and easy to communicate with, and both check-in and parking were straightforward. A lovely stay.

The lanes can be a little tricky, and you’ll need a car, but there’s loads to see and do nearby. It’s a beautiful spot for getting away from it all. The facilities are good, and the large downstairs bedroom is especially handy for anyone with less mobility.

Jacob's pond Cottage is surrounded by fields, and it’s so quiet that the only traffic we saw was tractors carrying hay. It would suit families, and Eric and his wife were always there to help if we needed anything. We’d definitely recommend it for a holiday.

The owners were very pleasant, and the cottage has a lovely garden. It’s well appointed and sits in beautiful countryside on the edge of Exmoor. Recommended!
