My father-in-law lives in stoke sub hamden and comes here regularly. They treat him like family. We joined him for Sunday lunch yesterday, and it was the best Sunday roast we’ve had in a long time, as well as fantastic value for money. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were warm and friendly. If you haven’t been for a while, I suggest checking it out. You may be pleasantly surprised. We’ll be back.

The pub was busy when we went for a Friday evening meal, and it had a good atmosphere. The food was fantastic. Definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

Jean-Pierre was a great host, and the food offer has been transformed. The rooms have been upgraded into practical, comfortable spaces, and the whole inn looks and feels fresh and revamped. I had an excellent stay and will come back for a visit.

After so many managers and owners over the years, Jean Pierre, the new Chef, is really giving it a go. Well worth a visit.
