The Coniston Inn - The Inn Collection Group

I really enjoyed the evening meal, and there was a decent choice, though I would've liked a few more options. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and check-in and check-out both felt smooth and personal. My room was spotless and very comfortable, so I slept brilliantly. A warm, friendly place from start to finish, and I'll be back.

We know other pubs in the Inn Collection, and this one lived up to the usual standard. The food was very good, and the staff were polite and helpful. We spent two nights here during a Lakes holiday. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and well equipped, and the setting is lovely, with views over Coniston water and the surrounding fells. We'd happily stay again and recommend it for a short break.

There were lots of families with dogs around. The views from the Inn are amazing, with mountains and rolling hills behind it. We stopped while exploring the lake district and had great service from friendly, chatty staff. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced for where we were and what we ordered.

Breakfast was great, and our room was roomy, though it felt a little tired. Room service was excellent. The inn is beautifully placed near the lake, but it's a bit of a hike from the centre. It was quite expensive for what we got, and the bar staff got our order wrong three times, probably because there weren't many staff for so many customers.
