This is a great holiday Home, NOT a Restaurant as the previous review says. The accommodation is luxurious, and the location is great, with a large secure courtyard where several cars can park. There are brilliant walks and views out of this World at any time, morning, day, and night!
The staff were lovely, attentive, and welcoming, but I left very disappointed. I’ve been here before and the setting is beautiful, yet this time the food didn’t match the view. The plaice, the fish of the day, was far too oily and buttery. My partner’s burger looked much better, but its chips were cold and the burger extremely dry. The restaurant books up well in advance, and I’d assumed that was because of the food. I paid almost a hundred pound for two drinks, two mains, and a small starter. I understand businesses have lost a lot through Covid and the cost of living, and that we need to support local places so they can stay afloat.
The hosts were so hospitable and made sure we had a super stay. It’s an outstanding property with gorgeous views.
