The breakfast was outstanding and served in our room. The ingredients were phenomenal, and the presentation was far better than at any hotel. I'm pretty sure even the butter was homemade. The location is great too, just a 15-minute walk from the lake. This is the nicest bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in. The staff were so accommodating and made sure we had a parking space. We loved our stay from start to finish. The beautiful room had perfect attention to detail, a really comfortable bed, and everything we might need, from dressing gowns to cotton buds. We'll recommend it to everyone we know and would love to stay again.

The bathroom was a little dated, but extremely clean. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and they'd thought of everything we might need. Breakfast was lovely and served in our room. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, with great attention to detail. It's in a handy spot, about a 15-minute walk from Bowness and Windermere. We'd definitely recommend it to everyone we know and would love to come back.

We loved our two nights in room "wish" at Rum Doodle. The styling was lovely, the bed was really comfortable, and the little extras in the room were a nice touch. We slept well both nights and enjoyed the lovely breakfasts each morning. The hosts and staff were amazing and everyone we met was friendly. The place has lovely character, with lots of interesting details, like the bowler hat lights in the hallway. The location was just right, quiet off the main road but still within walking distance of nearby towns. One evening we enjoyed sitting on the grass in the front garden. Having parking was handy, and we didn't need to use the car after arriving until it was time to leave. We'd definitely stay at Rum Doodle again. Thank you :)

For our anniversary, we spent two nights at rum doodle. The bedroom, which also had a living room, was amazing, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were lovely. It's well placed for walking into Windermere. Thanks for a fantastic stay, we can't recommend it enough :)
