We went to the Seven Stars for Sunday lunch. At first, the place and service seemed good, but minutes after our meals arrived the fire alarm went off and we were sent outside. When we came back, the food was cold and looked unappetising. Nobody offered to replace it, or even a complimentary coffee or dessert. We were only asked whether we wanted it reheated in the microwave. We won’t be back.

We did a Black Country Ales tour, starting and ending at some of their pubs. It was a great day, sampling lots of different ales and ciders on an old vintage bus.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch today. The food and service were immaculate, and I’d highly recommend the red Shiraz too.

We had a lovely hot pork bap, and the beer selection is tip-top. Such a lovely pub, almost perfect. Great pub.

No issues during our one-night stay, and it was great. The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent, though I couldn’t finish it because it’s a big breakfast.
