We were a big family of 14 at Stanway Cottage, and it suited us perfectly. The two kitchens, big garden, generous living space and a bathroom for each of us gave everyone what they needed. The games room was a hit as well. Mark was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We’ve booked to come back next year for our third year running. Highly recommend!

Stone Barn was spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area where all eight of us could relax together. We had a fantastic time and would happily return. The location was perfect, with stunning views and lots to do nearby. Mark was helpful and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.

The house was a great fit for our hen do, and the views and setting were lovely. It was also easy to have outside caterers come in. The beds were really comfortable, and everyone slept well. We appreciated the welcome treats too: fresh bread, cakes, milk, tea and coffee were waiting for us. A few things could use attention. The showers in the master bedroom and upstairs had weak pressure, the front door sometimes stuck, and the kettle tripped the electrics a couple of times. The living room sofas felt dated and so low that at times it was like sitting on the floor. Even with those small niggles, we had a brilliant stay and would book again.

Clematis was wonderfully peaceful for the extra night we stayed after everyone had left. Before that, all 48 of us had a brilliant time at Flagstone Farm for our June wedding. We could use the whole site, including the gardens for a barbecue, and there was lots of room, gas and coal BBQs, and lovely views. The properties had everything we needed for a short stay, including tea and coffee. There were activities for all tastes, from tennis and paddle ball to boules. We had plenty of questions and requests as a wedding party, and Mark was quick to reply and very accommodating. We would happily recommend booking the whole site for an occasion. Thanks, Mark, and we hope to return soon.

Our group of 17 had plenty of room, and the kitchen and dining area worked especially well for spending time together. The games room and paddle court were nice extras too. We stayed at Stanway Cottages, and with a little care it could go from a great place to an amazing one. The main issue for me was the plumbing: the ensuites were fine, but the showers were temperamental. It didn't spoil the stay. I'd definitely recommend it.
