The hosts gave us a warm, hospitable welcome for our overnight stay before catching a ferry. Breakfast was excellent, made with quality ingredients and care. Our clean, warm, bright room had lovely personal touches and faced the road, though we couldn’t hear traffic and slept very well. I’d have no hesitation recommending Harbour Lights, and I’d stay again.

Colin and Rhona make you feel like family instead of a visitor. The rooms were fantastic, and we had one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. A welcome whisky was a nice touch.

We stayed at the Harbour Lights the night before setting off on the Kirkpatrick C2C bike ride. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, and breakfast was excellent for both me, a carnivore, and my vegetarian wife. Our immaculate room had everything we needed, including a great shower, tea and coffee, and even a complimentary dram of malt whisky. The B&B is close to the marina, with acres of free parking. For cyclists considering the new C2C, it’s just a stone’s throw from the official start and finish, and there’s secure bike storage at the property. If you’re arriving by bicycle, let the owners know in advance. Very highly recommended.

We had to leave early for the ferry, so we skipped breakfast. The host was so welcoming, and even offered us a wee dram. We'd happily stay again 👍
