Linhill Guest House

The couple running the place were friendly and had great suggestions when we asked where to take two children on a wet day. It's on a busy road, though the traffic wasn't loud enough to bother us. We got a parking pass for spaces around the corner, and could walk into the main town centre. The room was as described and the facilities were spotless. The decor isn't all brand new, but it didn't need to be; it did the job. Breakfast was brilliant, with a good portion and plenty of condiments and cereals. The website photos were perfect, so we didn't take many ourselves. We'd recommend it and stay again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, though a bit bland and in need of some colour. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, and breakfast was delicious. The hosts made us feel very welcome. It's about a 4 minute walk to the edge of the town centre, and parking is arranged about a minute away.

We had a lovely stay at Linhill Guest House as a family. The owners were warm and welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed; the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had an amazing power shower. Local amenities are all within a 10 minute walk. I'd definitely stay again.

The beds were comfortable and the hosts friendly. The bathroom was a little small, though the shower itself was roomy. Parking felt awkward, and more details beforehand about where we could leave the car would have helped. It turned out we could park anywhere that allowed permits. The continental breakfast was a warmed croissant, which disappointed us a little, but there was plenty of toast and cereal, so we didn't go hungry. Despite those minor gripes, we enjoyed our stay.
