The staff at reception were courteous, efficient, and helpful, though I can’t recall their names. Thomas and his team also deserve a mention for their cheerful service in the dining hall. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well served. Our room had all the facilities and disability access described on the booking.com website, and the toilet was particularly senior-citizen friendly. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Shakespeare’s birthplace and other tourist attractions. We look forward to staying again on our next visit to Stratford.

The rooms are very clean, lovely, and well laid out, and the White Swan is right in the centre of Lemington. The service was a bit disappointing, though. When booking, I told them my partner is gluten free and was assured they could cater for this. They couldn’t, with nothing gluten free except soup and nothing suitable for breakfast. On steak night they’d run out of steaks by 7pm, even though it really wasn’t busy.

We stayed in 206, and the team happily sorted us out when we overslept and came down late for breakfast. The breakfast was gorgeous. The room was spotless and so comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. We were really impressed when we came for Christmas dinner last year too. It’s a stunning hotel with great staff and service. Thanks to the whole team, see you soon x

We were a group of four for the New Years Eve dinner dance, and the whole visit was fabulous, from booking through to leaving the next day. The meal was top notch, the band was brilliant, and our rooms were lovely with comfy beds. The breakfast choices were excellent and service was great again. Staff had excellent customer service skills and genuine smiles, and we were treated like good friends. We loved the Molton Brown toiletries too. We’re definitely looking at booking again for next NYE. Thank you ☺️

We hired the function room at The White Swan for a literary event and spent the day there. The staff were incredible and the dinner courses were excellent. The pub area was warm and cosy when we stepped out of the function room, with an impressive fireplace.
