We stayed in the gate room, with lovely views from both the bedroom and bathroom. The owners were so welcoming that it felt more like staying with family than being guests. Breakfast was among the best we’ve had, with plenty of choice from cereal to a full English. A great place to stay if you’re coming to an event in the area.

The view across the Severn valley and the surrounding hills was gorgeous. We also loved the hosts’ hospitality and the breakfast, which featured local produce. It’s a charming house with a distinctive atmosphere, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of stay.

The hosts were wonderful and put on a great breakfast. It’s a lovely old place, quiet and comfortable.
