Best curry in the county, with a big selection and perfect store beer. The amazing staff bring it all together. The landlord and the loveable manager J create a great atmosphere, with ace music nights and plenty of good walking options. There’s a brilliant beer garden, lovely views and rustic features inside. What a pub. Cannot fault it.

We recently saw the James Oliver band, and they were superb. The pub has a great atmosphere, brilliant live bands and the best Indian food. The staff are the best too!

It was a busy night, but the atmosphere was really good and the food was excellent. We ordered the Begum Bahar and Lamb passanda. Our only complaint was the 30-minute wait between the starter and main course.

We’d been on a long walk and stopped in for a drink. The kitchen had just closed, but there were four of us hungry, so the chef cheerfully knocked up some delicious curries. Cheerful welcome, great beer and surprisingly good food. Absolutely perfect, what a great find 👏
