Having five double bedrooms on site made our two-day international workshop for 36 people run smoothly. The big atrium held everyone in a circle, and four other living areas worked well for breakouts, including one where we live-streamed people from South Africa. We also had two long tables for relaxed, communal lunches. A local chef made fresh, nourishing meals in the kitchen with local ingredients, which kept everyone going and made conversation easy. Tickmorend Farm has a lovely balance of comfort and practicality. It’s a beautiful working landscape that feels welcoming and encourages reflection and connection. Prama and Matt were thoughtful, flexible hosts who understood the natural, creative, place-connected atmosphere we wanted. It’s a rare setting for retreats, workshops or gatherings centered on nature and a shared purpose.

Matt was quick to respond and very helpful, and the house was clearly well cared for. The sauna and pool were great for our family weekend. I’d book directly with Matt or through Sykes. I used Plum guide, unfortunately, and they were useless, seeming to rely mostly on chatbots. I also paid an extra £20 for that pleasure.

A really lovely long weekend with the family in a beautiful, idyllic setting. The place is so well equipped, and the hot tub, sauna and natural swimming pool were very welcome. It’s dog-friendly too. We’d highly recommend it.

I’m already looking forward to our next stay at Tickmorend Farm. The natural pool, fruit-laden trees, rose garden and postcard views make being there feel luxurious while surrounded by nature. I love the hot tub, sauna and country walks, while the hardier people in our group used the gym and took a cold water plunge. Matt and Prama, thanks for paying such careful attention to every detail.

The beds were comfortable, and the main bedroom was stunning. The reception rooms were light, airy, spacious and comfortably furnished. The house and garden were delightful, very clean, and had everything we needed. We had fun making all our meals on the outdoor grill, and spent time playing games in the garden and enjoying the hot tub, sauna and natural pool. Matt was always reachable when we had questions. We had an amazing weekend and would thoroughly recommend Tickmorend Farm as a top-class venue.
