The atmosphere in this 350-year-old pub was really good. I had lamb cooked just right, while my wife, who’s Italian like me, had a really splendid pizza. We also loved the tart tatin, which isn’t an easy dish to make well. A really nice find, thanks, we’ll surely come again.

The place has so much charm, and it’s amazing that it dates back to the 1700s. It felt cosy and traditional, the staff were very hospitable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a lovely time.

We tried the rump and sirloin steaks, along with the fish and chips. Amazing food and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely visit again!

The pub feels warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive without going overboard. Our Sunday Roast was absolutely brilliant: the meat was beautifully cooked, the roasties crisp and golden, the Yorkshire pudding spot on, and the gravy lovely and rich. A great spot for a relaxed Sunday. I’ll definitely be back.
