We chose this pub for my dad’s wake, and Joe, the landlord, made the arrangements easy from beginning to end. He was professional, reassuring, and accommodating, so we felt confident everything would be handled properly. The dedicated area had just the right atmosphere, warm and respectful. On the day, Joe kept everything running smoothly and on time. The staff were amazing and the food was excellent. I’m so glad we held it here, and I know my dad would have loved it too.

A relaxed, welcoming pub and a good place to unwind with friends or have a quiet cider to cure a hangover. There aren’t many pubs like it around here. The beer selection has a nice variety for different tastes, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

We had a great time here with friends and family, and even the kids were singing and dancing along. My friend Mr Tom Preston and his wife Cat brought us in for a few beers. I’m El from Malaysia, and I’d happily recommend this place for a relaxed group get-together. Bringing children seemed fine too, I guess!

There were quite a few of us, but the staff looked after everyone and we had a lovely afternoon. Thanks so much to Joe and the team for being friendly and helpful.
