Hurst Dene Aparthotel

The staff were courteous and helpful, and my room was always kept spotless. I stayed for two months in 2022 while travelling from California to Swansea for specialist medical treatment. It was my first trip outside the U.S., and after Winston heard why I was coming and how long I'd be in the UK, he moved me into a roomier room than the one I'd first been given. He couldn't have been more gracious or kind.

It was easy to walk to the seaside, Swansea University, and the City Centre, about 20-30 minutes at a moderate pace each way. There were plenty of places nearby to eat or take a break, and the second-floor room had a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and cosy, and I really appreciated the privacy. Many thanks!

We were three people in an apartment inside the hotel for one night, and it felt safe. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment had a stylish shower room, a double bedroom with a sink, plus a main room with a single bed, kitchen, sofa, and table and chairs. The older gentleman I booked with on the phone was lovely and helpful. It was a much better deal than the hotel rooms I found, which were quoting twice as much for three people. Free parking too. I'd definitely stay again if I'm back in Swansea.

There are a few steep steps up to the apartments, so bear that in mind if stairs could be an issue. Once inside, we had a comfortable bed, bright room thanks to the big windows, and curtains for nighttime. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was clean. The host welcomed us warmly and showed us around. We had a lovely stay at Hurst Dene Guest House, and I'd recommend it.
