We ate here twice while we were in Swansea, and we'll definitely come back. It's popular and gets busy, which makes sense. There are lots of gluten-free choices, including some delicious desserts. The food was great, sensibly priced, and the staff were helpful, polite and knew the menu well. We were blown away by the whole experience. Amazing service and amazing gluten-free options. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place.

The cottage itself was beautiful and had lovely outdoor space. We stayed there with our dog while visiting relatives, as we're originally from the area. We didn't get to try the pub, though, because dogs aren't allowed. For a country pub on the Gower, we thought that was absurd, especially since it seemed like they could easily set aside a dog-friendly area. We live in York, where dogs are welcome in most places, unlike Swansea. Sam Smith pubs also ban phones and dogs, which is just as absurd.

We've been to the King Arthur four times now and absolutely love it. The restaurant food is exceptional, and breakfast has a good choice made with quality produce. The team are attentive and available when needed, and everyone makes you feel welcome, even with the mix of tourists and locals in this busy pub. It's cosy, welcoming, and perfectly placed for all the beaches and walks nearby. The five-star reviews are deserved. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay perfect.

The beaches and scenery nearby are just beautiful. It's a lovely old-fashioned pub, warm and cosy, with a great atmosphere. Food is great, prices are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms have what you need. The ones inside the pub are more traditional, while the annex rooms are very spacious and have modern bathrooms. xx
